Who trains at the ANI?

Information for customers

The ANI is a private limited company incorporated in Switzerland. Are we approved? Of course we are! We are approved to operate as a commercial entity according to the laws of Switzerland. Are we approved by the National Aviation Authority? No, we are not, simply because that authority has no legal basis to approve or let alone disapprove the ANI. But they actually have their experts trained at the ANI, so it is probably safe to assume that they "approve" us. The same can be said for many State Authorities around the world. National authorities could only state that they do not recognise training undergone at the ANI for procedure designers active in their own country. So if you are a State Authority, please do not ask us if we are approved. The only thing you need to ask yourself is, do you want to approve/recognize us for your own training and the training of flight procedure designers in your own country. If you need a bit of help to figure out if it is a good idea to send people for training at the ANI, you can check below who across the world does so regularly.
